What You'll Learn:
Foundations of Ayurveda: Sankhya philosophy, elemental theory, doshic theory, and the 20 gunas.
The 6 Tastes, Digestion, Herbal Energetics & Prabhav: Understanding taste (rasa), potency (virya), post-digestive effect (vipaka), and unique special effects (prabhav) in herbal energetics.
Herbal Classification & Formulation: Learn how to categorize herbs based on Ayurvedic principles and create basic blends for various imbalances.
Meet New Plant Allies: Study herbs like guggulu, turmeric, ashwagandha, shatavari, neem, vidanga, guduchi and more.
Interactive Learning: Choose 3 herbs to work with throughout the course through meditation, self-reflection, and hands-on application.
Traditional Formulations: Explore Ayurvedic blends such as Dashamula, Triphala, and Hingvastak.
